What do I do?

I run, design and manage online experimental communities, primarily on Discord - whether it's interest based, esports, sports or games.I also consult on new Discord projects, helping guide people and companies new to community management into the world of Discord.

What's my background?

Starting in grassroots esports, I've held a strong interest in online communities, particularly ones based on games and esports. From creating and running TeamSpeak servers, to being an early-adopter of Discord back in 2016, creating and running communities has been one of the key parts of my career.

I am a graduate of Staffordshire University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Esports, focusing on esports events, production and management. This led me into working within motorsports from an event perspective, primarily within Formula 1, as well as with commercial simulator centres using the Formula 1 game.

Alongside this, since 2022, I have worked closely with Oracle Red Bull Racing and IMG Media on their experimental Discord community, being apart of the core team to lay the foundations for professional sports teams to manage their online fanbase, growing the server from just 700 members to over 67,000 through organic growth.
